Community Capacity Building

Education & Development:

TAIBU’s Education and Development is an integral part of the Community Programs’ core capacity building strategy. This Program shall comprise of a series of training modules/workshops covering a wide range of health related topics including leadership development as well as life skills. Workshops are open to community organizations, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, resident interest groups, residential/housing programs among others.

Program Objectives:

To empower youth, adults and older adults through the delivery of education and Development training modules/workshops
To provide regular trainings and practical opportunities for young adults, older adults and the wider community to enhance their knowledge and skills in various areas of interest related to Social Determinants of Health
To ensure that trainings modules are well promoted and accessible to community
To ensure that trainings modules are implemented within TAIBU’s Best Practices framework
To ensure that trainings modules are based on best practices and that evaluation frameworks are thoroughly implemented
