Nutrition Program
The overall goal of TAIBU's nutrition program is to promote healthier eating habits and lifestyles in people of all age groups. We provide individual consultation to support clients with modified diets. The program uses a combination of group information sessions and one-to-one counseling to increase awareness of the implications of having poor dietary habits. Participants/clients become more aware of the links between nutrition and health, increase their understanding of individual dietary requirements, and become more confident in meals selections. Participants/clients learn to plan balanced meals and the importance of having family involved at mealtimes. This will help in better selection and preparation of healthy meals for themselves and their families.
